Hoping the Islanders win to shut up the whinny Boston fans that complain constantly about penalties. If the Islanders go on to win this series Trotz should be considered the best coach in hockey right now period. Hands down, not even a conversation. Trotz is slowly becoming a legend.
Once there was such Stanley Cup final series that goalie did not mean anything. Any NHL level goalie would have won that cup. It was the year 2010 when Chicago took the cup and Antti Niemi was winning goalie. That defense was Soo Good that all Niemi needed to do was just pick the pucks like strawberries. That is what defense must do. Make pucks visible for goalie.
