How about the incredulous stat in 4 games leafs have taken 25 penalties….. tampa has taken 16 so leafs aren't learning that whistles have tightened
I said it before the series started, if Spezza is in the lineup the leafs will lose the series.

Leafs would be better off tanking and blowing this series in six games. That way they can clean house, get rid of Tavares, Keefe and Dubas. There is an excellent coach out there that can probably coax this team to win a Cup, and that is Barry Trotz. Not only will no one on the Leafs score 50 goals anymore, but he will turn this team of prima donnas into defensive-minded and defensively responsible forwards and defencemen ! And that is exactly what is needed to win the Cup, DEFENCE !
Here's what happens tonight. Tampa holds off a huge push from the Leafs for the first 10 minutes. Tampas experience and patience leads to a goal in the beginning of the second, the leafs get frustrated and give up, Tampa takes it 4 to 1 or 5 to 2
U can change the lineup but the results won't change. This team has no heart Leafs are done!
Leafs need to preach to Willy that he needs to play like he wants to win, seeing him scared out there deflates the team…. YOU ARE NOT A ROOKIE ANYMORE. i was a huge Willy Fan, but seeing him shy away when it matters most is so disheartening. If this was regular season i wouldn't really care as much, but PLAY OFFS? if not now then when?? play your heart our and battle in the corners… EVEN PHIL KESSEL would get in the corners come playoffs! and he was afraid of everything in the regular season, but when it mattered he fought and he has a Conn Smyth to prove it. SHOW UP WILLY.
Look at Holl’s stick on that freeze frame! Look at the Tampa players stick, look at the Tampa guy inside the blue line. Where could Holl have iced the puck?!! High off the boards was the safe…and right play there.

Marner Matthews NEEDS to be split up
Rielly Lyabushkin needs to be split up.
These are no brain decisions. They are both top pairs that are being shredded.
Marner, Matthews pairing has been our cheat code all season. They have been bullying the competition 5v5 all season.
It hasn’t even been close.
However since game 1 they have been a NON factor. They are being shutdown. Outmatched.
We no longer have that crucial advantage.
Is Sheldon really this thick?

Too much hate on Holl. I like him. Doesn't have the points of Rielly b/c he doesn't play the powerplay. He receives a lot of the toughest assignments. He's not the weakest defender (defensively) on the team. He's better than Rielly (defensively). Let's talk about Rielly's team leading -4 in game 4. Micro viewing plays on Holl is just plain hate. You can micro analyze every Leaf player and if you truly are objective, you'll find mistakes on all the players. Holl was 2nd on team in hits in 2020-2021 and 2nd again in 2021-22.

other than his 2 goals in the losing effort, Nylander has been weak and lazy. going back to floating around, avoiding physical contact and letting his teammates do all the dirty work. having said that I would have preferred him to stay on the 2nd line and keep the great playing 3rd line as it was with Mikheyev, Kampf and Engvall. Tavares needs to do something different. Matthews looked like he was kind of giving up under tighter checking too. hope they come up with a solid effort tonight.
You know who else hates this lineup…matthews…marner…Tavares…nylander,,,mikheyev….engval..basically all but bunting and kerfoot. I said this on your other video…its not about simmonds and clifford hitting and intimidating the Lightning. ITs about all the Leafs softies playing soft since their body guards are not in lineup. How else do you explain MAtthews having 2 shots and marner 1 shot on goal in critical game 4 and thats with 3 power plays. I actually dont want a soft team winning NHL playoff games. Leafs are trying to cheat the game by playing all skilled players and no grit. Thats not Canadian hockey.. They should be punished for that physically and in results.
If Leafs lose tonight and Holl is a deciding factor. The inept Leafs ownership should include keefe with his buddies Sheninigans and dumas and finally letting them go. People wonder why Leafs have not won a cup in 55 years.. By having unintelligent wannabes running this team. This is like running against the traffic on a hiway expecting cars to move and not run you over.
Vasilevskiy is totally beatable and the Tampa Bay team is beatable as a whole. Yeah, they’ve won the Cup twice, but realize what this takes out of a team. It is not easy on any team to win the Cup. The Leafs have a chance to beat this team and I hope they don’t blow it. They did not bring their hard work ethic last Sunday and I really hope that tonight is different. Go Leafs Go!!!!! 🤍💙🤍
Reilly / Lubushkin – Thats on Reilly… he has been a pylon defensively… He is the A-captain … He makes the big money… it is on him. Lubushkin is doing better than advertised. Period
