Lucic is that guy. $5m for 1 year left
I’d be down for it! I love Andy but by the time we are contenders, he will be in his 30’s and on a similiar contract as Gally…. And possibly regressing.
non meci
see what they will pay for hoffman and armia
Na. I think Anderson is a good physical player. I don't think his injuries have been too bad. I can see us keeping him for a season after this one or two, before we consider trading him depending how the rebuild goes. If the rebuild goes faster than expected, then having a physical vet that can score will be very valuable to us. If in 2-3 years, our rebuild still needs work, I think he will look good for trade. He'll be 30-31 with 3 years on his contract, by then. Only way I see us trading him is if we get a really good offer or he asks to be traded out. Honestly, the return for Lehkonen looks OK, but Barron's still a work in progress. It's too soon to call that a good trade for us.
I see what you're saying though. Trading a good player who's young, with term, in return for something juicy and taking on a bad contract. That does sound enticing. But I think completely selling all the good assets all in short span has its risks. And that can end up looking like Buffalo or Arizona or some really long rebuild like Toronto had.
Always thorn with Andy… not because of his performance but because of his physical protection he brings to the team.
Pick is difficult since the flames will be low on the pick but prospect I can see and I take your word for it about Carpentier so it sounds good
Josh is the most enticing peice at Montreal offensive wise, (Suzuki & Caulfield excluded)
Hope he stays… he such a good player
No way. Thats a terrible idea.
