  1. Miller is technically tradeable until next year, but nobody is realistically taking in that huge contract for a 30 year old player the way he’s played so far. Even if he ends up with 80-85 points, I still say that contract is unmovable. He’s a liability defensively and it’s more than likely that his offensive output is headed for a steep decline from here on out. Sure, Arizona might take him on – for a couple of firsts and Jack Rathbone. But I would have kept Bo and moved Miller, even for just a 1st. This team isn’t good enough anyway. No use cap strapping the team for years just to maybe finish in a wildcard spot.

  2. Trade Jt before deadline keep Bo hes a legit number 2 C man. Jt is a good winger but not at Center. lets get a Top 4 RD and a draft pick for this years stellar draft. Trade Brock if his Stock rises Kaz is better and Faster.

  3. Benning team core needs to Go pettersson leaving after this contract is up ,whose wants bad contracts Pearson oel poolman Myers ,Martin will out played Demko. Martin Hughes Kuzmenko podkolzon mikheyev Miller core

  4. Alvin's Addiction mikheyev Kuzmenko Dermott Joshua Lazer stillman Bear ,Miller? Hughes pettersson ? Horvat Boeser Garland Hoglander out soon hard to moved poolman Pearson oel Myers retained

  5. Man, I hate Canucks fans: they lack impulse control and have zero patience. There's no way they're going to be patient for six to eight years while a rebuild occurs. This Management Team hasn't even had a full year to tune the team up, stuck with bad contracts and a flat cap. Fans: "Fire the Coach! Trade Horvat, Miller everyone! Tank the season! Get a star right handed D!" as if these D Men are just sitting there for the taking. Who do you get back for these trades? Who would want to come to a team like Vancouver with a Management team that just reacts to fan's hysterical brain f*rts. Get a grip.

  6. Canucks are too far along for a rebuild. That means they have too many good younger players to risk trading them in the hopes of putting together a better young core down the line. Not going to happen.

  7. John Shannon is so out of touch, all he does whenever he's asked about the Canucks is spew the same old tired "their fanbase won't accept a rebuild". That's a lazy uniformed narrative. This team ahs been grossly mismanaged for almost a decade now, and guess what? The radio shows still have listeners and the main topic is always the Canucks. The sportsnet ratings for Canucks games remain high, the ticket sales are still solid, so if we've been okay with nearly a decade of incompetent "re-tooling" that saw this team finish near the bottom of the standings multiple years, then why the hell would we not be cool with a rebuild with a clear vision and plan instead of just icing bad/mediocre teams that are capped out for years?

Shannon needs to stop pretending he knows what he's talking about when it comes to this fanbase, he looks like a fool.

  8. PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE ITS NOT JUST 7 GAMES!!!! ITS 5 FUCKING DECADES!!!!! IM SICK TO DEATH OF THIS “ITS ONLY 7 GAMES” ITS 5 FUCKING DECADES OF THIS TEAM SUCKING! IVE DEALT WITH 30 OF THOSE! I WANT A FUCKING WINNER!

  9. Sure, the Canucks are better than they’ve shown so far this year, but I want to eventually see a Cup. Does anyone think this core has what it takes to eventually be a contender? If not, do we have the assets/picks/prospects/cap space to make it happen? If not, what are we doing here? Sure, the team could battle for a playoff spot, but is that what’s acceptable in this market now?
