snowflakes these days need a good bullying
The 14 year old was convicted in juvenile court. How much more of a public flogging does he deserve?
This kid is likely done in hockey
Why is he still being punished for something he did when he was a teenager? I'm some happy that the things I did as a teen didn't follow me into my adulthood.
Canadians got away with Logan, bruins prob thought they could do the same
Imagine your life being ruined for a mistake you made in 8th grade 😂
Great pod, Julian. I agree with everything you said
Chris, the Bruins did not bungle this, this signing was intentional despite what Mitchell did in the past. They knew what they were doing and thought the way could get away with it. It was only having the entire hockey world speak up against this caused them to back down. Neely and Sweeney should both be fired.
My heart breaks for Julian that his cohost was so stuck on defending hockey culture and favorite players …you didn't give him the fair chance he gave you, to air your views
I'm sure you're a great guy and all … But you don't have to love hockey while black. Julian does. You don't hear things the way he does. And you blew a chance to learn …because maybe you thought it would mean the gatekeepers of your sport would be judged.
Bruins only cared about signing the player, had zero concern for the victim and his family. This is a Bruins issue, and reflects 100% on the Jacobs family, Cam Neely, and Don Sweeney.
Chris I wouldn't be surprised if the person who pushed for this kid to be signed the most was THE OWNER. Don't they meddle and put hockey above personality?
I like how all of this Mitchill Miller stuff is talked about as if Miller defends what he did. All I have to say is, let the innocent cast the first stone because I have a feeling that if Miller's past wasn't brought up that this whole thing would never be news, because chances are, Miller just wants to play hockey. Also, by this logic should ex-convicts never play sports or get a job? Does his past affect his ability to play hockey? Because turning Miller away can be tantamount to refusing him a job. Now, if he's shown no remorse does that affect his ability to play hockey? And if it about "culture" well how much you want to bet that there are criminals on NHL teams? How many players drank alcohol or smoked weed in the teens? Better not sign them, they've committed crimes! How many past hockey players were in Bar brawls, or had DUI's, Patrick Roy was a wife beater, why didn't he get kicked from the NHL?
I'm not defending Mitchel Miller but I'm not sure if its common procedure to consult the victim of an nhl player being signed by a team. I'm not saying they shouldn't have but if your signing this Miller guy I would assume they didn't care to begin with.
Chris thanks for shutting down his attempt to make this a "all of hockey culture is toxic woe is me bullshit" People did step up and speak out. Look at the bruins players for one.
Not everything is some big "the establishment is toxic and I'm a victim" some times shitty things happen and there is a reaction. The reaction was Mitchel Miller for all intents and purposes got cancelled. He might never play in the NHL because of this backlash. No other team is gonna make this mistake. He will have to find another profession.
So stop demonizing all of hockey culture/people!
tkachuck loves targeting goalies.
This kid's got to hire the Logan Paul PR Team that got his out of his "Japan Incident"! Took him YEARS… but look @ Him now… boxed Floyd Maywheather… and wrestles in the WWE! This kid doesn't need to become a Hollywood star… he just needs to play Hockey!!! He'll NEVER play in the NHL without a specialized Hollywood PR firm taking care of this!!!
How Mitchell Miller even made it to the draft is shameful. The family deserves to be left alone. Even Neely calling up them and asking about Miller is out of line. How much more of this goes on?
If I won the lottery, I would buy SDPN. It’s probably worth $5M.
The kid was forthteen and you're blackballing him yet dino ciccerelli expose himself to a neighbor and kept on playing , Craig McTavish killed a woman while driving under the influence of alcohol ( he was dead drunk ) and kept on playing , Doug Gilmour had sex with his underage babysitter and kept on playing,I could go on but I'm not.NHL. Bunch of gnikcuf hipocrite specialty you CAM NEELY..P.S I'M A LIFETIME'S BRUINS FAN , LOVED CAM AS A PLAYER BUT AS A PRESIDENT HE HAS GOTTA TO GO.ARE YOU READIBG THIS SWEENY
