Honestly Uncle Kenny exceeded my expectations. Just resigning Kane and Kulak plus getting Campbell (and a goalie who plays 50 in a season which was stated (plus or minus 4) is the primary goalie BUT just because it's planned that way doesn't mean it ends up that way, we'll see. Kane solidifies the top 6. Kulak replaces Larson at a lower cap hit. Campbell is better than Smith. The Kassian overpay is Zonas problem now. The Chiarelli Koskenien overpay nightmare is over.
Hey Dolynny I think all Oilers fans are happy that we got Evander Kane scored a huge reason we went as deep as we did in the playoffs this year. Jack Campbell played great for the Leafs and I think he is a #1 starter and a upgrade in goal. I am very excited to see what this team can do next season and hopefully they can stay healthy in the playoffs they will be tough to beat!
Honestly I thought pickerd might do some magic. But there’s no way he came to eddy to be a back up maybe at the beginning if anything but he’s the number one plus ken already said it.. last season he was in first for vezian trophy and he’s gonna be in an Edmonton market not hell. (Toronto market) love skinner but he’s got at least another year to prove that bye can be a 50 vs 30 games goalie and they’ll prob be doing tandem for a while
While I do appreciate the mental gymnastics Holland had to go through to get Kane to resign and land Campbell. I am concerned at what really have they accomplished. They really only added 1 roster player a goalie (much needed) But they have lost Kieth, Kassian, Archibald, probably Russell, Smith, Koskinen, Perlini, Scevior, Turris & Marody. And added McKegg and another AHL bound goalie.
Wayyyy happy with Kenny so far. Didn’t expect him to get it done, but Campbell, Kane, and Kulak all locked down for 13m is huge, and we have 7m for JP, Yams, and McLeod. Never been more optimistic in my whole life for this team
Hopefully if skinner does end up being the starter by seasons end it’s just because he’s playing outstanding and not because campbells shitting the bed lll

Even if Stuart Skinner proves to be amazing this year I wouldn’t start him until next year I just don’t want to rush him
