Take the over on Colorado beating the Canucks and beating them badly. Poor Demko. Their only real chance is that the Avs goaltending is having a bad night and they jump out to a 4 goal lead and manage to hang on once Colorado gets their game going. That defence can't withstand that firepower. Maybe last year, if Demko was standing on his head, they'd have a chance, but I'm expecting at least a 5 goal night from the Avs, if not more. Schenn is a terrific defensive defenseman, but he's not playing 30 minutes a night, and even so, nobody's perfect and once that bottom pairing hits the ice, without home ice advantage, they're in big trouble. This isn't Bruce's fault, though. That blue line is awful and awfully expensive.
