Im getting so bored watching Oilers play. Canucks are somehow more entertaining. This bottom 6 is just so aids.
As a Leaf fan im happy to see Jack Campbell getting paid & Matt Murray + an OTT 3rd, 7th round pick with salary retained
1:58–2:08 The goaltending is only as good as the guys in front of them. The blue line needs a serious upgrade.
I think pulijarvi has to go and Campbell as well. I think a new back up goalie for skinner and a replacement for pulijarvi is needed
trade mcdavid for an entire team is the answer
Hi my name is Mr Shahid & this is my theory. Personally no do you understand how this conversation value work ethic is very important. For sure definitely ? Yeah of course actually at this stand point. If you were in that position of Connor McDavid & his agent will he not accept that his term not involve his laddership position as Edmonton Oliers Captain high standard I would not put him their Eventually this scenario, I would put Leon as name captain position of McDavid. that's is perfect fit for him their Eventually, so I think their will be posabile fit for McDavid to join this team is Available interest for him their to make new change involve with value contract quality interest level direction lead them to victory. I would put him their Eventually deadline in Toronto & Guide him their will make sense unfortunately to help accept that term with Kylie Dubas to success. & his own invsion right direction different type of quality level for him their. that's what I believe in their confidence rewrite his own journey their will make sense. Ps I would not accept agree with that term not involve with value in Edmonton,
My 2 cents: The offence is near perfect we are a powerhouse, even last night we had 50 shots and pretty much just got goalied. The defence has been worse then an AHL d and needs and upgrade. Campbell has been bad but it’s showing how bad the d has been. Campbell has had some big saves and skinner has been playing like vasy
Have you ever wondered maybe the reason the Edmonton Oilers are not doing great is because of the media it’s focusing on Draisaitl and Connor McDavid
People were saying exactly all of this stuff last year. The same things have been happening every year for the past three or four years. Decent start, then the sky falls, but they still wind up making the playoffs. It's extremely frustrating, but it's not new. When Holland said "Up and down like a toilet seat", that wasn't a joke.
The funny thing is, it’s only going to get worse when the Oilers have to give McDavid a new contract in 2025 and watch the rest of their roster suffer even more than it already is. They are never winning a cup.
van not better off
At least you’re doing better than the Canucks.
Sad to see Hyman and Soupy leave but for 10.5 mill for the next 5-6 years… I’m good 🫠
get Mike Smith back!
21 st over all? yikes! with all those first round picks…. even the Habs are better….
solution! CLONE Mc Saviour and Mc Draisaitl….. don"t tell anyone!
they seem to slump at least once a year for 10-12 games then pick it up. you could say this really is a playoff team. i think they would have a better showing against the lanche if they meet them again this playoff.
The thing that frustrates me most this year with the Oilers is they do not know how to start on time. There is no sense of urgency at all. The coach even looks lost now. We all had big hopes going into this season but maybe this team is a mirage. Besides Mcdavid, Skinner, Draisatal, and Nugent Hopkins this team has under preformed this year..could be a really painful season in Edmonton.
This is real Oilers have no wingers behind Nuge and Hyman team is tough to watch feel bad for Mcdavid and Draisatl
They are still frontloaded after such a long time. It's really bad management.
This is why you have to be like Marchand and Bergeron…no more then 8-9 million. GM's just don't get it.
Hockey guy, covers hockey everyday multiple times a days, "I dont watch too many Oilers games much" "I have them on in the back ground"…..It's only the best hockey player, PROBABLY in history. Teamed up with probably the best second player suited for the first p[layer in history. Yeah sorry, you are not really a hockey guy in reality.
Just give McD away to Wings. Please
I’ve been saying this for awhile but Edmonton Needs that cornerstone defenseman you don’t win without him. Every team that won a Stanley Cup has had at least two star forwards and one star defenseman. Tampa Bay the Avalanche Chicago Blackhawks LA Kings Capitals Penguins Red Wings. You are not winning without that star in the back end
In short, they're like a rebuild team trying to find chemistry.
It's not good but it's not awful. It's 500 hockey.
Still lots of season left though. So it should be concern but not panic and burn it all down start fresh like some fans are saying.
