I appreciate Mr. Dahlin's perspective of his and the boy's overall performance, along with the HC Granato Sabres Source video highlighting similar remarks, I would have been concerned had we lost a 5-1 or a 5-2 score to this particular team.
The Devils are one of two teams currently with a 30 or more goals differential as well as both of these teams are tied with the lowest goals against a plus 47.
The boys began a little tight but they figured it out mostly as they went along, after it was 3-1 against this HC Ruff-coached team it became a monumental challenge that as HC Granato had pointed out in his recent Sabres Source video they had not played this team or style of competition as yet, and we are learning, and imho, overall not a drubbing by NJ by any means and our boys can play with anyone, imho.
