    Sick of watching a non playoff team fight for a second wild card spot! 2 playoff home games are not the goal it's a cup! Tear it down!

    yeah I hate to say it but this team needs a new identity outside of Hughes/Petterson/Demko they should try and get what they can and rebuild

    Why should we bother making the playoffs when clearly this team has proven that it is not capable of competing for a cup. They will get crushed in the first round. Who wants to see that???? Not me. This team needs a drastic change

    the canucks clearly aren't doing enough to get prepared in achieving that intensity they need to have before EVERY GAME. this has been a problem for them not just this year but for the last many years, and i don't think its one factor at fault for this but many. they need to address the culture issue in the organization. i think the coach could probably do more to help raise the players intensity, but at the end of the day he can only lead them to the water, but he cant make them drink. these players are highly paid pros, they need to start preparing as such

    That was one of Vancouver's better games, the problem was Mini played a near perfect road game and deserved to win. The Canucks were really good defensively and that is very encouraging. They were not very sharp offensively and Gustavsson was really good. You can't win em all and in the big scope of things that game is just one game. No worries at all.

    Re: my question, my suggestion was actually not taking back any return (maybe a pick at most) for Schenn and Pearson, since cap space is king these days and it's rumored that Schenn likes it here and will want to come back. For Kuzmenko, leverage his ELC and demand as a point/ game guy for a contender to move Myers (probably with retention, again maybe with no player return, or take a bad but short contract in return).

    Chara should have the balls to say this after their Stanley Cup Win in 2011 and stick it to the Canucks if these stories are true. Common sense tells us this is not. Chara is a d***h**d stirring up controversial 11 freaking years later! Lost all respect for him and the Bruins.

    If they move Schenn they would definitely be in tank mode. There really is no help for the right side unless you pick up a veteran. Even then slim pickins and would probably over pay. No one wants to move a good right D man. Might have to feel some more pain as fans. Do it right will take time. I blame management and ownership for the mess. Should have listened to Trevor. Tssk, tssk, tssk. I do think they are playing better. I do not think one trade will change the team to much. Think they double clutched on every shot allowing the goalie to stop every thing. And he could see the puck. They had plenty of shots on net. They could use a player like a Maroon or another super heavy who can play.

    Clay you addressed it perfectly, at 7:50… we are one injury away from any playoff hopes, why bother with chasing the second wild card now? Just tank and sell, now it's the time.

    Regarding Juice… I think we all should not be disappointed in Chara, but rather feel sympathetic towards his dementia and delusional disorder.
