  1. uggh I was hopeful for the new regime.. The draft picks going out, resigning of JT, the signing of a few FA wingers… It was all not looking good. It is just getting worse as we go. JR is going to leave van with not only OEL on the books, Miller also, then whatever lost assets in the Bo trade (not holding by breath for a van trade win). Instead of doing a proper rebuild at any point, Van just pisses away anything they gain. To be real contenders you need some late draft steals and first rounders to develop. Van trades too many away and with them bring in depth pieces that amount to negative value in the end. Motte has been one of the few positive value players that have been thru the system.

  2. The key now is for the Canucks to figure out, like a stock on the rise, when is the best time to sell Horvat. And to get a king's ransom in return.

  3. How do u not just go for Bedard? Please send down Hoglander too, Canucks are just ruining him on a loser team!

  4. I've always seen Bo as a reluctant captain. Never saw him as captain material. He would have flourished a lot better not having a C on his jersey. It is what it is, now the time has come for him to move on. I am fine with that as I believe the team needs a rebuild. Miller signing was the nail in Bo's coffin to stay in Van. Bo has no interest in taking a home town discount and why should he. The conversation is now what can we expect in return and when is the right time to do a deal.

  5. Boudreau's message to the team… "Guys, please bail me out out there. I know I couldn't implement a good system and it's making the team look bad. Just score another 5 goals tonight boys."

Why is he splitting up Kuz, Petey and Mikheyev when they've been so good? Why is he sitting players like Boeser and Kuz? I think Boudreau has been blessed to play on good teams throughout his career but hes not what this team needs.

Also the team is 8 and 4 in their last 12 games. At that pace they easily make the playoffs. They are better than one round and out too.

  6. Burn it all start over again ten more years is better then watching this team trying to make the playoffs.

  7. We need the new stat . How many behind the back offensive zone passes from JT Miller have been picked off and resulted in breakaways and goals ?

  8. good, maybe managment is finally embracing a tank. if something doesnt change we'll end up missing the playoffs by one spot

  9. Strip it down keep Petey Quinn Demko.the 3 Russians Everyone else start Shopping them. I love Schenn but hes a great trade Chip . This team has no Chemistry it needs a Major Shake up.

  10. Bruce needs to go. Not a smart coach..
Defencemen make stupid errors over and over again and NEVER miss a shift
( dumb ass Giraffe Myers ) and he doesnt play Rathbone… What a joke. Line combos could be put together better by a blind 9 year old.

  11. If the Canucks want to win a game, just play the Leafs. We all know the leafs play down to their opponents and lose to teams they should win against. Just set up 3-4 games against the leafs on the side and they'll regain their confidence 😀

  12. Myers … bane of the D; MOVE HIM if at all possible. Boeser … bane of the F's; MOVE HIM if at all possible. For different reasons / reasoning. Myers is just plainly NOT VERY GOOD. Compared with his salary, it's ugly. Arguably the worst signing from the Benning era (other than Eriksson). Boeser, while not "not very good", is WAY over-rated. Compared with his salary, it's hardly palatable. He should have been allowed to walk, and not been given the qualifying offer that was WAY TOO HIGH compared to his overall performance (future "potential" be damned… Anyone that was betting on that were wearing blinders to the facts of his play and production to date.) Miller, Horvat, Kuzmenko, should all be secondary to those two concerns; and solving those two concerns would go a LONG WAY to accommodating Miller, Horvat and Kuzmenko.

  13. Nothing changes players come players go coaches come coaches go managers come managers go. They can trade Miller and Boeser and Bo. A year from now it will be somebody else. Its like shuffling deck chairs on the titanic. Its The owner until that changes nothing will.

  14. How does a guy like Paterson manage to stay so gleeful for 6 minutes of blather on the hole the Canucks have dug for themselves.

  15. Tell me what we get back on a 8 million dollar player on a trade ? It's going to be nothing the Canucks are screwed

  16. it's pretty simple, the canucks just aren't that good and they won't get appreciably better until there is a change in ownership.
