To be able to watch him and Crosby is unreal. Both generational coming in at the same time. Ovachicken is the best goal scorer IMO ever. To do what he’s doing in today’s game is insane. What’s crazier is how no team can lock him down from the same area. Truly a legend.

People always never fully appreciate a once in a lifetime player when they see one until they’re gone. I’m just happy I’ve got to watch ovi from start to finish in the nhl from when I was 8 years old and I’m now 24 and in my mind once he’s gone and in the hall of fame there will be no doubt he is a top 5 player all time if he breaks Gretzkys goal record he will be in my opinion a top 3 player to ever play the game.

Too bad the team plays for one person, not a player playing for the team. Ovi is responsible for the Capitals failure to succeed, too set on personal accomplishments. His accomplishments are meaningless given the team has only ever won one cup in it's existence. FAILURE!
