At least we have a deadline for hopefully finding a trade for JP that is decent. July 29th is only 8 days away so they have to push.
I would rather keep Yamo than Jesse. Arbitration can get ugly.
I hope Jesse is moved and plus I think Jesse and his agent is going to wreck the Oilers and drag the whole team down ! The Oilers waited about 5 year for Jesse to get better . But he didn't get better and cost the Oilers time and money for a subpar player !
Yamo deserves big pay raise after he was low balled last year to prove himself. Yamo has huge upside potential as he has shown it. 3 Years 15M
I hope we keep yamo. I can stomach losing JP but the feistiness yamo has and how he mucks around in those tight areas is irreplaceable

I agree that JP will be traded. His play does not deserve a contract above 2 mil not alone double that . If he plays like he should then he needs to prove that. He has only played for 1/3 of a season at a level that would meet the teams needs. I think Yamo will be signed. Keep the vids rolling

Wouldn’t hurt my feelings any if both Yams and JP are gone. If it weren’t for playing on lines with McDavid and Draisaitl they’d of only gotten half of what they got for points. Hope Holland trades them both for another decent RW forward. We have Holloway and McLeod and I’m sure Woodcroft has some players from the Condors in mind. Need to inject the team with some young blood here and there during the regular season to keep the team pumped.
Jesse is really under-rated as a defensive player.
Well I hope Yamamoto gets a 4 year for 3.5 million other than that I think Jess about 1.5 an if gets more than 50 points give him a raise like a bonus for ,1 year but the contract will have to be a year to get sum more cap space

I hope Yamo doesn't sign for more than 4m but he's been a very great Oiler so far with lots of room for him to grow. I hope he gets signed ASAP. For PJ though, 3.5m would be an overpay for him. He's a great player with lots of potential, but when you can't make chemistry with McD, something is up. Trade PJ for an older solid top 9 player that's cheaper than him to solve our 2nd line winger problem. Ironically Kapanen should be an Oilers target. PJ & Samorukov/picks for Kapanen. Kapanen played with Hyms, Ceci & Tys before and he could play well with Draisaitl and McDavid (a transition from Crosby and Malkin). If PJ does resign, hopefully he can live up to his contract.
