The few times I've watched him in person you notice even during warmups that this guy moves different than everyone else on the ice, not only is he much much faster then everyone, he moves way more fluid, looks effortless. I'm not even the biggest hockey guy but his abilities on the ice are profoundly noticably better than everone else on the ice.
We have seen Ovechkins hair completely naturally change colors from black to silver all while wearing that exact same uniform… there's a Stat for ya
