I mean people called me dumb for taking him 3rd overall in our fantasy league (points only) over guys like Matthews, Mackinnon etc. He's been consistently one of the highest scoring forwards over the past five or six years. Not looking so dumb now.
True hockey fans know how skilled and effective Kucherov can be. It’s his ability to control play regardless of the zone. He has the rare ability to make players around him much better. What I like most about Kucherov is his low panic threshold. When he’s got the puck, especially in the offensive zone, you can be guaranteed you’ll get a decent scoring chance. If you want to win, pick Kucherov. If you want to watch the fastest, most electrifying player in the world, pick McDavid. I prefer the winning part.
