I think talent wise probably only Gretzky and Lemieux are a comparison to him in NHL history. It's unreal how clearly he is the best player in a league filled with talent. What's missing is the success in the playoffs, but hockey is probably the sport where a single player has the least impact. I mean, he is not even on the ice for half a game and is not at fault for the terrible goalies and defenses of his team through the years.
