  1. Happy New Year Wings faithful! I love the season so far. Fourth place in the Atlantic at the turn of the calendar 35 games in, along with the young guys and the coaching staff improving nearly every game. Remember that this team will only get better and we are still missing a few key pieces including Vrana and Fabbri. Keep it rolling and let's start 2023 on a high note. Let's go Red Wings! ♥️ 🤍

  2. Hey @awood40. Wondering how you feel about our wings here. I myself feel happy and excited for every game. These boys are learning and growing big time

  3. Happy New Year to all! Like my friend said, I am able to still be a Red Wings fan from texas. I wish someone, ANYONE, would tell the people who make these decisions, to have a chance for us to sign up and pay for Red Wings' games with Red Wings announcers. I haven't seen one whole game this year and still wouldn't be able to follow my team if it wasn't for awood40. Thank you for realizing that there are Red Wing fans everywhere.

  4. Thank you for making these! About the only way I can watch these guys anymore, and I only live 2 hours from the home rink.

  5. An EXCELLENT highlight vid awood! Thank you for your hard work and this wonderful Detroit win in 2023!
And as my son, who is a very much a NON puck playing goalie says, "If you're a goalie, stay in your net!" "There's five other guys in front of you that have the sticks, skates, and skills, for that bull$hit!"

  6. All hail the Swedetroit Red Wings: Hellberg, Bergy, Soderblom (on fire🚒, right now!), the Rayzor, etc. just tearing it up, lately!!!

The boys falling behind early again, here, but the growing belief, patience and above all, pure skill, were all plainly there to see, as the Red Wings: kept the smart, lateral and diagonal passes flowing; maintained their lazer-like focus on rapid turnovers and quick puck movement up the ice; and really fought and scrapped for everything along the boards and behind the Sens' net. Happily, Ras had another truly excellent game here and its' clear that under Coach Lalonde, he is a player transformed😁!

Around the Christmas break, some of the Red Wings' detractors were quick to point to the not dissimilar festive season entrance records of the team in 2021 and our current lineup. To me, however, this is far too simplistic and one dimensional an analysis, because when you look at this team now, from the better goaltending setup (with Husso and now, hopefully permanently, Hellberg), to the multiple scorers that are popping up for us in almost every game, to the fine compete level and increasingly evident self-belief that you see there out on the ice, you surely do see a Red Wings team that has been absolutely transformed from the unhappy group that was out there on the ice under Jeff Blashill's erratic 'leadership', during 2021/22. Had that 'Blashill Red Wings' team fallen behind two goals to the Sens, early on, then most likely the roof would have caved in and we would have ended up on the wrong end of a real shellacking. However, under Newsy's quietly authoritative leadership, those troubling days, as we also saw against the Pens, very recently, are well and truly over….THIS current, increasingly impressive incarnation of the Detroit Red Wings, does NOT buckle under pressure and it DOES fight back and win👍!

Happy New Year to you, awood40🎉! Thanks for all of the genuine hard work that you put in, in order to keep all of us in the Red Wings global fan community fully in the loop as to what has been going on out on the ice in key games like this one👏! Happy New Year also to all of you, my fellow Red Wings fans out there in the YouTubeverse: let's hope that there are a lot more happy days and performances like this one waiting for us out there in the weeks and months ahead 🤞!

    Let's Go, Red WIngs 🏒🥅 🎯!!!

  7. Wings have a pretty tough schedule coming up the next couple weeks. They definitely needed this game.

  8. Even though Seider's offense isn't doing much right now, his defensive play is insane. I want to see the A on his jersey.
1-2 years and then the Wings will be in the playoffs. Fun to watch them

  9. I feel bad for Ned but we need two goaltenders to compete. Let’s see if the boys can keep it up and play meaningful games come March.
