If I’m doing my math correctly (which I assume I am not), 72 divided by 39 is approximately 1.84. 1.84 times 82 (number of games in a season), we get around 150.88. I’ll round it up because it’s McDavid. He is on pace for around 151 points this season.
I don’t know who was the last player to score that much in one season, but it’s kinda insane!
