canucks need to fold as a team , it doesnt matter who they have on their team or who is the coach , in over 50 years they still havnt won the cup , you could take the best players from every nhl team and make it the canucks and they still would do as they have been for 50 years , they had the sedines and burrows , 3 great players , they lost 15 years . they need to fold and ship the players off to different teams so their talents are not wasted

Is every team “rebuilding” this year or what? That’s all I hear is “rebuilding” when any team is mentioned
As a Vancouverite we need a hard rebuilt. The half measure approach is not working and will not be working. Signing miller over horvat was a mistake. Boudreau probably won’t be around for too long but it really is an ownership problem in my opinion. The fans here love to hate on the team too, so many fairweather fans come out when the team is good but I feel like that’s the same with any Canadian team unfortunately, we can handle a rebuild.
As a fan since 1990, I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not that fans care so much, because I remember how bad things were in the late 90s. I was online back then and while the internet and social media wasn’t what it is today, fans just tuned out. We had the Grizzlies and people just found other things to do. I don’t remember the Canucks being in the social consciousness again until at least Linden’s return and probably closer to 2004. These Gen Z’s cry about everything. I’ve seen the Canucks at their best in the early 90s, and at their worst just a few years later. This isn’t the late 90s. Those teams underachieved, but they were just bad. Today, the team has obvious, glaring holes.
Horvat must be thanking his lucky stars he can walk away from this garbage pile.

As a Canucks fan I think our #1 priority should be to get rid of bad contracts. That means get rid of OEL, Myers, Jt Miller, Pearson whether that be waiting until they expire or providing incentives to get them gone. Once that's done you start with a clean slate and you trade for picks and prospects to build around the young core. Will it take time, yes. Are great teams built overnight, no.
When you see the kind of things the Kraken are doing on their own east swing road trip, it gets really disappointing. The Canucks were overtaken by a team that has a squad of fast skaters. Pittsburgh I might argue are even faster than Tampa Bay!
Since 2011, look at the direction the Bruins and Canucks, have gone. Good luck with JT Miller.
