I was thinking of Kuzmenko for Lafreniere idk if it's even fair tho Laffy is still young.
Rangers are asking too much for him in my own opinion I've seen Laffy play with som1 catching up to him and he gets poked from behind him and he dives onto the ice.
I'm not sure if Canucks would even want to part ways with Kuz for Lafreniere bcuz he hasn't proved his worth in the NHL yet
If Canucks do want to take that risk it's a very high risk, Lafreniere would at least get more of an opportunity here and a better power skating coach to help him develop better, like even Hovat wasn't the best at skating nether when he first arrived.

The funny thing about going after defenceman by trading Bo and Kuzmenko means Petey and Mikheyev are the only two top6 players left, which means now we have to find offensive players instead. So yes it must be a full rebuild and the question is will Petey and quinn stay for this, it might take at least 5 years to have a team that is worth its name.
Kuzmenko's shooting percentage is around 25%. Sample size is 39 games. His 35 goal pace is NOT what anyone should think is sustainable. A lot of players have good starts or couple of months when everything goes in, but shooting percentages of 25% are never sustainable. This talk of 5 or 6 million for his next contract is ridiculous. Among all active players Leon Draisaitl for his career is tops at 17.6% and Stamkos second at 16.8%.
They absolutely need to trade all their UFAs for maximum return. Having 4 first rounders in this years draft would be absolutely huge and is essential. Then get rid of Myers and the team will be miles better, and much better set up for future. Trading Boeser and Garland when their value is so low would be a mistake. I think they are stuck w OEL and Miller. Setting a new direction for this team is critical, and if EP not on board trade him for max return next summer or next year. They cant go on without major changes…
