I'm not hating it, and yes it's odd for a team named the Blues wearing a red jersey lol. But can we all admit, that the bluenote logo pops on this jersey, more than any other jersey they've ever worn?
Yes, it is a reverse retro by design. It takes a dated jersey, which has aged poorly, and then flips the colors. But like, it is so ugly. Like real ugly. I would have preferred to see this jersey in the team's current color theme. It is just so ugly.
I rank it high as it is what people were promised, 7/10.

The original is the worst jersey the blues have ever had.
the retro is ok. It looks better than it should because the blue logo set against a red background somehow works.
Its keeping in spirit with the concept. I would like a golden primary colour one to see what that looks like.

It was a stupid jersey back in the 90s and the reverse of it is even stupider. It reminds me of the Gretzky rent-a-legend deal and Mike Keenan. Ughhh!
It sucks that Pietrangelo is no longer a Blue but he was a stand-up guy all throughout his time with the team. If he is not included in one's St Louis Blues ultimate team as a defenseman, you really need to rethink the list – I mean, he beat Al McKennis for most assists and that dude is a legend in St Louis.
Red and blue are my favorite colors. And I love it.
