    I don’t think the leafs can afford Meier though! The team that screams trading for Meier is New Jersey!

    IF the leafs are going to go all in then by all means make the deal Meier woul be big time help 2nd line wing and would make second line as dangerous as first line so if it si possible to get Meier then go for it

    *FYI BOS has been speculated going for Hertl for years not Meier, they have no need for a winger.

    Knies for Tk with 50% retained is the trade the leafs must make. Local boy definitely re signs once his deals up. Knies will be good but the window is here and now

    Here's the problem with Meier to the Leafs…I think 5-7 other teams could beat the Leafs offer. The Devils and Sabres are both apparently interested and they both have great prospect pools.

    Leafs would be very dumb to trade Knies he is exactly what they need and will be cheap for 3 years! Meier isnt the fit hes too expensive. Jenner would be amazing if Colombus would be open to trading him. He is the perfect fit to be able to hold long term and also re-sign bunting.

    I agree with Boone Jenner being a 100% perfect fit.

    2023 1st
    2024 1st (top 10 protected)
    For
    Jenner
    2023 4th
    2024 4th

    It's a lot to pay but I would do it. Columbus fans don't want to trade Jenner though, since he is their captain and I get that. But they would have to consider this package heavily.

    Jenner fits like a glove in my mind.
