Almost same package Vancouver gave up they could have got a way better player
they din't retain salary that's why the price was a little lighter, yotes never got fleeced but the sens definitely won this one
it's pronounced "chick-run" my guy
Wild he STILL doesn't know how to pronounce Chychrun
after watching ottawa beat us twice (detroit) i hate ottawa and now they got even better, they could make a deep run this year, who knows.
GMPD for gm of the year.
How did the date go?
First impressions are the Yotes got fleeced, but if they nab a future star with the first rounder the deal is more palatable. Considering the pick will likely be outside the top 10 though, it's probably safe to say the sens win this deal big time
Ottawa W
we need to start a movemenent called W Dorion
a W for Ottawa's and a Big L for PHX because of their own GM choices not to trade way earlier!
Chychrun is becoming overrated nowadays. He's a good player, but not a great player. I say this is a fair deal for both sides
lmao why are you saying his name like that?
Biggest trade this week, one of the best days we've had in almost a decade as a sens fan. Unbelievable, we will be contenders here by next season hopefully
Arizona is such a joke. Been trying to move him for 2 years! And this is the best they could get?!
The SENS got him because they took ALL of his salary.
Zaitsev was basically making the same amount as Chychrun. So huge upgrade for the Sens.
Pierre Dorion outwaited everyone including the Yotes.
Wow, who the hell is running Arizona? Elmer Fudd?
Way to show your excitement Lego. Lame
Yikes!! Thats almost what the Nucks gave up for Hronek! I would be tight if I was a Canucks fan😂 Man the Sens are gonna be dangerous soon!
overpriced. Damaged goods. Can only complete season, if its a pandemic season. Any more pandemic seasons in the future? modified NTC. disaster. Hronek's already played 78 games… !!!! in a deep draft year, Ott's trades their first round pick, in the same time as losing Mr Mann?? What's up??
Hronek and Chychrun are having similar seasons.
Arizona retains 0% salary, that's why there's no roster player or prospect
The last good thing Eugene Melnyk did before his passing was to hire Pierre Dorion as GM. The Senators are no longer laughing stock of the League.
How come it doesn't sound like that when I say his name?
I’m not sure they were fleeced. Chychrun was not as valuable as the Coyotes thought.
Sounds like this was what Canucks wanted and took Horonik cause Phoenix passed on the Canucks offer.
A few hours after I renewed my sens ticket package for next year this happend 🥳
We could have just drafted him instead of Juolevi.
Funny how many times Chychrun's name has been said over the past year and this guy has never heard anyone else pronounce it
I seriously don't see what the big deal is. Nothing special about Chychrun.
In the long run, ottawa traded two 1sts, four 2nds a 3rd, a 4th, and zeitsev – for debrincat and chychrun… gotta love it!!
Anyone remember what Vancouver gave up for OEL?
If this is the final price for Chychrun, I felt even more so that the Canucks had overpaid to acquire Hronek, and/or the Coyotes really got fleeced by the Sens in a steal of a deal.
Kevin Adam's had an opportunity to land this guy for not even all that much and Buffalo Sabres General manger blows a deal ends up in Buffalo Sabres division very disappointed with General manger " he damn well knows the goal tender should be upgraded and time is not on Kevin Adam's side while other nhl teams have Expeditely have improved with basics trades?🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
It's pronounced Chick run
I saw his first goal as a Senator, wow, what a shot. If Chychrun can just stay healthy, he'll be a real force in this league.
