  1. He left becuase calgary sucks. The city, and the team. (I live in calgary btw. GO OILERS GO) it's a nice city don't get me wrong, but when American move here they hate it. The fLames have to overpay every player just to keep them. The building is trash, probably the most toxic fans, I'm surprised they even have a team at this point.

  2. Old news. It’s almost always the wife. Puck bunnies like to pretend they love the cold but as soon as they get that ring they demand their men get a trade to some place sunny. I commend Johnny though, giving an F U to his puck bunny and taking a deal in Columbus. So at least he got the last laugh there. Stupid puck bunnies. Lol

  3. I’m not a flames fan but I have seen Johnny play in a Calgary uniform a few times. During warm up he would juggle the puck on his stick and he would progressively keep tossing the puck higher and higher until it was literally above the scoreboard in the Canadian Tire Centre. He would catch these pucks on his stick. It was a real treat watching him screw around in pre-game warm up.

  5. He had earned his right to leave but I wish he had done Calgary a bit of a favour so they could have trade him somewhere for a draft pick (even a 7th) but it is what it is. Even though Calgary has been hurting bad without him, he can’t be in a happier position in Columbus unless he likes losing but the money has to be nice down there with lower taxes

  6. at the end of the day its whatever makes him happy in the long run but damn if this is true screw her lmao

  7. Lol who gives a shit? His wife owns him. He’s not the only one. Glad he sucks now but he’s never been a winner anyway. Plays for his own points in easy games. Losing tkuchuk hurts way more. Tre should never have cheaper out on chucky’s bridge contract out and they should have given him captaincy.

  8. He just came off a five point game topped off by the OT winner. He'll be fine, media just love to stir the pot – it's their job after all.

  9. If I had to take a guess, I'd say the reason he left was because he didn't want to be stuck in Calgary in the event of another lockdown. seeing he's from the eastern USA, I think he wanted to get back closer to home for the sake of his wife and child and his strong family ties. Gaudreau isn't the only one. I think fear of getting stuck away from home for an extended time factored in the Tkachuk decision and is factoring in the upcoming Auston Matthews situation as well.

  10. This one’s a tough one because it’s not like he went for more money or a better team, or a team that is an original 6 or something…he went to Columbus! Feel bad for Calgary fans..he was a pleasure to watch even from Toronto

  11. He left for family reasons, it is what it is. The Flames got a value contract out of him that took him to UFA status. It stings that he left, but all we can do now is move on.

  12. I was under the thought process of his wife is a paediatrician and Ohio has one of the best Paediatric hospitals in NA

  13. Kinda seems like Frank (and whoever told Frank) ought to know when to keep their mouth shut. This probably would have been one of those times.

  14. When your wife stucks her nose into your аss/business – that's a bad wife and an awfull decision. You are a athlete or a slоbber? Hey, she's not even 5/10. She's not even beautiful. Flame's fans must have an opinion. That is not harаssment.. Cut The crаp on that shi t, you go crazy with all of that in the last years

  15. it is known Gudbranson's wife and Gaudreau's wife are best buds so its not hard to figure out what happened

  16. I don't no if she had a kid but if so she is young probably nervous and wanted family either side with her nothing wrong with family staying together duck's for flame fans I get it losing an asset like that 4 nothing hurts

  17. Pretty sure it's a little deeper than a car ride and a talk but that's my opinion. Great content BTW — you should do a hour podcast everyday I'd tune in for sure. I work from home I got about a 2 hour slot that needs a podcast to fill it. Like this if you want a podcast too.

  18. So disappointing imagining where the flames could be right now.

That being said, players are humans too, and I think that's something a lot of reactive people seem to forget.

Always keep Ilya Bryzgalov's quote in the back of your mind "it's only game, why you heff to be mad?"

  19. Poor guy. She’s been eyeing up some other guy in Columbus area. Now she’s closer to him lol

  20. His wife has just as much of a say in their life as he does. Sure he's the bread winner but she still deserves happiness. It wouldn't be fair for his wife to be unhappy her entire life to appease to a fan base.

  21. Breaking news: family makes decision together on where to live and work.

Come on. Is this worth getting worked up over?

  22. He left because he doesn't want to play in the playoffs.

  23. Literally cuz of the wife. There’s nothing to search for bro. They took a long drive in the off-season to Columbus and loved it. It’s that simple.
But my real question is who’s wife actually enjoys Ohio lol get a new wife….what a horrible woman making your husband live in COLUMBUS OHIO.
