    Hey Gio (and everyone) I think personally he’s going to leave for Buffalo and sign a more reasonable deal.

    My thoughts is because obviously (home grown) he wants to play in Buffalo and he’ll end his career where he wants.

    For the team it’s exactly what they need, if they can get him for a cheaper team friendly deal adding Kane will bring veteran presence and scoring presence and loads of playoff experience with 3 stanley cups.

    The rangers have too tight a cap to take Kane anywhere beyond this season, but I could see him settling at Buffalo or retiring if they get a cup.

    I’d love to see the rangers sign Tarasenko long term

    Rangers can resign everybody simply by acquiring someone on LTIR, like Price or Weber or Ellis. They get the added cap space while insurance company pays the player’s contract.

    As a Ranger fan, I doubt we'll get to even think about keeping one of Tarasenko or Kane but, assuming we can make the cap work and it was between the two, I personally would rather have Tarasenko. Never realized how strong on the puck he is and I'm really impressed with his effort in NY. Kane and Panarin are very much alike and both have incredible pros but, there are definitely some cons. I feel like Tarasenko is a more well-rounded player and fits this Rangers team better long term (again, assuming it'll even be possible to re-sign).

    Coyotes have lots and cap space and sunshine for him to play and retire there!

    thoughts on this are simple kane came to the rangers because he didnt need to be the star of the show and didnt need to carry the team on his back we need his playoff experience going onto the playoffs and we need his passing ability along with his ability to skate if he does resign with the rangers is a totally different story based on there performance in the playoffs
