The Oilers went 81 games without a Shutout….now suddenly both Tenders are looking like Vezina candidates….this is simply not sustainable….so IMHO the last 4 games show exactly where the Oilers are lacking and why they will not go deep this year….the Oilers have been drawn into very close games they do not want to play lately by multiple teams and its a very very good tactic to use against Edmonton…..frankly the Oilers lack of discipline with their sticks and with their constant picks/ interference and with Coaches making poorly managed Line-Changes the Oilers put themselves in bad positions when even small mistakes are made…these multiple peripheral impacts come together to MAGNIFY Oilers individual errors and also System induced errors.
