Isles played perfect game 3 for their style. Feel them…out hit, play smart hang around ambush them late. This game only one national broadcast. Players too amped Martin emphasized they are head hunters in interview…dumb penalties. Canes adjusted PP caught Isles. Barzy out of shape. Romanov mistakes. Isles Aho hits post. Could have been huge. Got very little out of Palmieri and nothing from Parise or Nelson..Engvall took a step back. Dobson off balance all game. Series not over. Home crowd will force Canes to be aggressive and they lost another player today so want to finish it. Isles can lay back and counter, still must hit but keep sticks down. Keep second man high if Canes come out hard on Dobson on PP again as Butchie suggested so easy pass. Goalie was so so…Maybe change goalie to Varly for spark? Raanta still suspect. Desperation good for Isles style. Also felt Lambert wasn’t good with his line rotations. Was just off. Maybe mix lines some. Maybe will have to break up Barzy and Horvath? Like Horvath and Palmieri and Barzy and Nelson?
Can critique this game all nite, Carolina was the better team today period…..The Islanders were smothered after the first 5 min of the game, Carolina reminded me of the mid 90s Devils…..close the middle of the ice and wait and pounce on mistakes….Boooring yet effective!….Feh!
Pathetic. Isles had some major momentum going and fkd it away in gm . 4. Car. just shuts down isles attack like nothing. Isles can't muster anything 5 v 5 and take dumb over aggressive penalties. The pp can't be used as a weapon and is useless. Isles have just as many sh goals-1 as pp goals-1 in series. And car. has 5 pp goals with both teams adding a shortie so car. has won the special teams battle as well. Bottom line is isles probably go bye bye on tuesday. Last team to get in. First team to go out. And the playoff magic of '20-'21 long gone now. Isles just a borderline playoff team that gets bounced in first round just like the 'experts' had them all season. Thank lou you schmuck. All your engval craziness and non-moves did nothing to move the needle. And bo looks lost as canucks laugh at the sell-high job they did on bo. And sorokin the so-called isle advantage hasn't stolen a game or two this series.

Came out like a freight train, Parise called for a crap penalty then Pulock joins him in the box. 5 on 3 knocked the wind outta them and the crowd.

Hi Gil, To me it seemed like Matt Martin personalized this series at the end of game 3 which became detrimental to the Islanders on Sunday. His penalty to start the second was killer. Is it time to sit him in favor of Bailey? Not a popular stance, but Bailey has never been a player that takes dumb penalties…and we definitely need more self-discipline if we have any hope in hell in this series. Great job as always.
We can’t blame officials. This loss is on us. After Canes weathered our first 5 minutes, they took control of game and Isles wilted like flowers in the desert. This team has consistently shown no killer instinct ever since Trotz left. Carolina will easily dispatch of us Tuesday. Let’s face facts, the only reason we are in the playoffs is because Pittsburgh lost to Hawks

Those 2 penalty reflect the league doesn't want the islanders advancing. Barzall call a TOTAL joke .Parise call too. First pushed into crease then goalie too WTF ? COST US THE GAME EARLY
How come Lee doesn't get criticized more ..Bo has been here not even 3 months .Lee makes almost as much as him a d all he does is NOT play defense and turn over the puck automatically when ever he holds the puck ….
