Edmonton in 6. This was the most oilers game ever. I suspect game 2 is gonna look completely different.
It really looked like McDavid was trying to skate straight through the defense to bait penalties instead of shooting the puck when he had the opportunity. They can do so much better, it's painful to watch

Oilers’ defensive breakdowns were the problem in this game. Not handling the puck well, no clean passes, giveaways, Oilers shot themselves in the foot…again.

If the oilers up their game to where they are capable of they will win the series. They spent far too much time standing around and not covering their lanes to win this one. Vegas definitely played better. And it was still a one goal game.

Oilers look flat in game one. Kane, Hyman, RNH really didn’t get into it. Bouchard wasn’t a factor either. The 3rd and 4th line were non existent it seemed. I am not worried because I think Edmonton woke up after that lose and we will see a McDavid who will be unstoppable and a team looking like the 14-0-1 in the last part of the season with Skinner playing outstanding in goal!
I'd love to see the Oilers win it all this year since I don't have a dog in the fight this go….but my gut tells me Knights in 6.
