The amount of disrespect towards the cats. They beat the best team in the East and are up 3-0 on the second best team in the East. Yet the other teams blew it instead of the panthers are just dominating. Btw you guys sound soft as baby poo with all the complaining….

They are too top heavy, not built to win in Playoff hockey. Too much money and talent at the top, teams know if they shut down 4 players, the rest of the team is average. Easy to beat.
The problem is all of you. All of you who massively over scrutinize this team and insist that every player have 50 microphones in their face to ask them why they aren't perfect. All of you who believe the team is going to choke regardless of how well they're playing. Leafs fans will forever take every great player who possibly could bring this team success and psychologically destroy them until they are moved somewhere else to finally have the opportunity to love the game again. Leaf fans are garbage. So you all get the team you deserve

Keefe is being out coached, the team is lifeless. Schenn is their best player so far in this year's playoffs, too bad he slid into Samsonov. Bennett shouldn't even be playing. That choke slam should have been met with SUSPENSION!!!!!!!!!!!

these core players are great additional players who i have no doubt would thrive with personal stats and bring alot to the right team but definitely NOT core guys you build around. leafs management has it ass backwards and i think at this.point deep down they see that(hopefully. id hate to know their in straight denial and not seeing this) and are either being stubborn and just riding it out. hopefully they do this now and do the best thing for the franchise and take what theyve seen and now know from seeing real teams and start wheeling and dealing. very sad for fans and hey all things consisered it wasnt the worst of runs and is real unfortunate but at this point you have things inside out CLEARLY and have to adjust and fold everything back into place. get a legit core of the right guys and add physical/gritty snipers and forecheckers around them with solid d and goaltending and try again. build it right the first time and itll be stranding strong forever. sad but necessary fact.

These guys should be on the national broadcast. They know what they are talking about.
They don't match the intensity and grit of the Panthers. Leafs have talented forwards just don't have playoff heart. Tavares tries tho, but his best years are behind him. Florida is a team built for the playoffs. Leafs are not. They just beat a beat up Tampa team and the fan base were thinking they'd go deep? Come on. Not with that team.

In my opinion, Matthews and Marner have become toxic to the other players. There's no way that the rest of the team doesn't see that those two just won't (or can't?) push themselves hard enough.

Simply put Florida is the better team. Florida's top six play with a little sandpaper edge.They are stars but grinders in their own right. Toronto;s top six are star players but are lacking that sandpaper grinder edge.
You know who the Leafs lack? A player like Landeskog. He’s never been the best forward on that STACKED roster….but he’s a leader and will go to war for his team. Look at the Avs last year versus this year…

an oversimplification but it really just comes down to them not being a good playoff team, there are players on every team that step up in the playoffs and some that disappear, Leafs have too many in the latter category, it's really just that simple
You CANNOT bring Dubas back! HE is the one person who absolutely insisted that he "believes in this core" How can you reward him for that?
The core IS the overwhelming problem, and they have proven over many years that they can't play with enough determination in the playoffs to make a difference.
Anybody check the hospitals for those core four?……they are prone to choking.
