    Before we even start, the downward behavioral spiral that Marcus Foligno engaged in was tacitly approved of by Evason not stepping in and mediating his menace act after approving of his
    Gladiator act in Chicago. Foligno, unfortunately and singlehandedly took the Wild down with him!

    To move on, as Judd says we need to get rid of Dean's pets! I believe them to be Hartman and Steel. Both hard working guys but also Dean's shield to not playing developing players. Dumba and Goligosky leaving would add to that So, $2.75mil + $1.7 mil + $863k, $6mil + $2mil so roughly $14 mil to work with there would be a good start to some talent and enough call-up money to cover that. Offer Ryan Reaves 2 year, $2mil he might stay if you can trade Hartsy with a plus clause to get a highter talent it's a win. See if Gus Nyquist can hang til next Cap increase somehow! Keep Gus, Duhaime put Shaw on LTIR.

    2023/24 & 2024/25 are largest dead cap seasons then the dead cap drops to like $833K for 4 more seasons. Guerin is going to continue filling roster spots with short term low cost contracts the next two seasons and one would think start bringing up a prospect here or there as well (Rossi Beckman etc). Guerin is also going to say what needs to be said to keep season ticket sales high and seats full @ The Xcel Center along the way. "Fuck that this is about winning" starts in 2025. It was Billy's plan the day the swamp was emptied and the primadonnas were bought out.

    Hamburgers last year and steak this year. Laughable and ridiculous, and that's why I haven't listened to Zulgad's podcast in over a year. It's just all nonsensical BS day after day after day.

    Rossi and Beckman should be regular members of the team next season. Walker should be the first call up not Petan, let Petan be the veteran guy who can help all the new blood develop in Iowa. Faber should be top 4 and I’d like to keep Addison to generate some offense from the blue line. If Hunt and O’Rourke are deemed nhl ready I’d like to see them play over Merril and Goligoski (tho I doubt that happens). If Lambos is good right off the bat in Iowa I think he should get some games down the line. If both Gus and Fleury are kept have Walstedt be the call up not Zane, let the kid get his feet wet this year and be more ready when Fleury presumably retires at the end of his contract.

    I do agree with the Spurgeon analysis, as the playoffs are a grind, tending to be more of a physical game, maybe his size comes into play. If so, it will also be a factor with Addison. I like the top 4 D being 4 towers if possible, mixed in with skilled players. Faber is an absolute stud, Brodin as well. Let the kids come up and get a sniff, O’Rourke, Hunt, Lambos, on D, Beckman, Rossi, Walker, up front, even if it’s just for a few games. Those are just examples but you get the picture. Keep Foligno, he was a victim of sorts as the officiating changed mid stream in the series from a physical bashing series to after P1 in game 4, to a finesse game. Huge advantage Dallas. Still pisses me off, the missed calls and phantom calls but that’s another story. Lastly, please get a center-man for 97 as well as someone who can win a draw on the PK and PP.

    Billy changed he culture? Has he? Interesting how Suter was a locker room cancer that Billy thought necessary to buy out (thus putting the team in a huge hole for years), yet that same locker room cancer is part of the Dallas Stars team that knocked us out of the playoffs in 2023. We're still seeing the same Wild results post-Suter. Think about that.
