Canes kept up with the devils in speed, the panthers look like they're in slow motion in comparison. The cane's worst performance was an 8-4 loss in NJ so in order to beat them on their worst performance you'd have to score 5 goals and you think the panthers can achieve this? Against carolinas smothering defence? and PK that's 90%? Wow! Good luck!

Panthers in 7!..I had Carolina before play offs one of the toughest teams and actually wanted to my Cats to play Boston in first round instead of Hurricanes.After first two rounds -Boston ,Toronto I know Florida is ready to take anyone and Carolina is next ✌🏻

Panthers in 6 or 7 games. X-factor is Paul Maurice, who has coached Brind'amour & Daniels when they played for the Canes. Paul should have a good idea of their coaching style and what to expect from them in key moments to the series.

I got Canes in 6. I’m not counting out the Panthers but I feel like they are going to run out of steam in this series. Regardless, this is gonna be a good one! 💯

Barkov had pneumonia that was back in December and January and then he had a wrist injury and then a knee injury and then was sick again and was sick in the Boston Bruins playoffs series but he is still the best player out there along the boards no one else is even close. Plus the panthers from January 1st till the end of the season had to play .700 hockey to get into the playoffs and they did it by one point and they played .700 hockey.
Panthers have won 8 of their last 10 in the playoffs and 6 straight road wins.

Canes in 5 I’ll give panthers credit for beating Boston and Toronto but the hurricanes are just a whole different animal doing all this without 3 of their top 6 forwards, how good they are in transition, their incredible defense and their D men are able to put up plenty of goals the depth for them has really stood out since the playoffs begun, Rod also has a pretty good idea of what Mo’s coaching style will be as he played under him for the canes before Bob will give the canes a run for their money but I think the canes find a way to get it done like they did against the islanders and a shutdown goalie like sorokin this will be a very interesting series no doubt
