That Goalie Interference call was awful, Nothing White did prevented Andersen from making a save. Andresen shoved himself way over to the right and completely out of position. I have no idea why Andersen did that, but it sure wasn't White moving him out of position. Still, I love that their terrible call gifted us with so much bonus hockey.
Watched every second of my Panthers huge win in game 1.. Keep grinding. Go Cats.
Florida got screwed on the disallowed goal
If he interfered with the goalie, the goalie should have been moving the other way
My dad said during the 2nd if we're going to have a multiple ot series and then went to bed after the 3rd 😅😂
You should added to the gut punch of the Canes, as it was also at home. This game was a war and for Florida to play that hard and still win….. why hockey is the greatest sport. True warriors.
that first goal that was disallowed should've been allowed as the panthers player gets forced into the crease disturbing Andersen. you can clearly see the panther player trying to escape the area and Drury does what he can to prevent him from moving away. So with that in mind the right team eventually won this game.
Andersen didn't even try to get set, he was going after White.
Watched all of it. History in the making. It affects Carolina badly. Now they aren't in control of their own ice. Fla can skate freer and will be skating on cotton while Carolina will need to gut out a win.
Don’t do this to us, Canes…
Panthers: Win Presidents' Trophy, get swept in the 2nd round.
Also the Panthers: Squeaks into the playoffs by one point and upsets the greatest regular-season team that has ever been assembled.
Bobrovsky suddenly remembers how to play hockey from 2017. I see the Cats winning the whole thing at this point… you kinda can't bet against them at this point IMO…
As a Canes fan I'm obviously upset we lost but I knew this series was going to be close and brutal. Both goalies were unbelievable. I believe in the Canes though and they're incredibly resilient. Can't wait for game 2 LETS GO CANES!!!
The Panthers have been doing this all playoffs. They get these wins that feel good and project them into the next game/series. Panthers can game. Im starting to like them more and more.
Series is gonna be brutal if this is any indication.
Can someone please explain to me how the Panthers wern't offisde right before the disallowed goal? The puck clearly leaves the zone and re entered before all the panthers got onside.
Tenth longest game in Stanley Cup playoff history
Hit my bet in the 7th peroid lmao
Nothing like watching exciting play-off hockey well into the darker hours of the night. Good memories of watching long overtime play-off games with my pops many years ago. Only times he allowed me to stay up past normal bedtime. Good times.
That no goal call was embarrassing.
Actually made me ashamed to be an official for a moment.
this made me miss 3v3 + shootout. Yeah, it went on for a long time but so many non-plays and icings, it felt more like quantity than quality hockey.
And the Leafs & their fans thought they were serious Stanley Cup contenders this year 😅.
This game was one of the most skillful & entertaining hockey games I’ve ever watched. Looking forward to watching the rest of this series.
Both goalies were on CRACK man. Very glad i stayed up for the OT goal even though I had class the next day (or i guess the same day)
If Carolina comes out, fired up for game 2, the series goes 6 or 7. If they come out dragging and lose, they, most likely, get swept.
Wait that was goalie interference and got an ot goal overturned but nothing for holding the stick 😂 big joke
