Not a Panthers fan but i might be one now. Bob is putting up one of the all time great goalie performances in the playoffs. An absolute treat to watch, unless you're playing him of course.

Bobs performance is shaping up to be the one of the best goaltender performances in a playoff series in the last decade. He's playing better than Antti Niemi back in 2010 (you just had to witness that one).

Panthers are in excellent shape but by no means can they take their foot off the gas. Just keep doing what they are doing.
It's so frustrating as a Canes fan. Even with Svech and Patches injured I don't think they make much of a difference in a series like this where the goalie has gone Super Saiyan. Through 3 games it feels like the guys have done everything right but aren't being rewarded for their efforts. They put in so much effort to break down that solid Florida defense, which they do several times a game, only to shoot at what feels like a brick wall. I honestly believe the skaters on the ice for both teams are playing dead even both offense and defense but Florida is gaining that slight edge from their goaltending. Everyone is talking about how Florida is putting up a defensive clinic but Carolina's D has also played lights out only allowing 6 goals on 103 shots in 14 periods of play. We've broken down the Florida defense countless times yet, barring the flukey goal to start game 2, the only time we can score is on the Power Play – the only time where Bobrovsky can be caught out of position. All the respect to Bob though, he's found another gear and if he keeps playing like this there's really no doubt in my mind that Florida will cruise to a Cup. Nobody left in the playoffs has an answer for what he's doing. He beat a historic Boston team, the 2nd place team Carolina and a solid team in Toronto – all while his team was outshot in 11/13 games he's played in.

It's always the hot goalie you have to have, Bobrovsky is a stonewall, the win streak and a red hot goalie starts to become a storyline of, can this team and goalie be beat, so far not really, on the other hand, sometimes these streaks can end catastrophically, but I don't think their slowing down, they might roll right to the cup.

I can't remember the last time a hot goalie didn't win their team a cup. This is very normal for a goalie to catch fire in the playoffs and shutdown the opposition. Everyone expected it to be Ullmark for Boston, but his very little playoff experience nerves got the best of him. Bobrovsky on the other hand has lots of playoff experience, and he's comfortable enough to come in clutch when he needs to.
Good thing the Flyers traded him for a bag of pucks.

Like all favorites when facing a hot goalie behind a care free team playing with house money…..They're pressing!!!! They're tightening up and trying to force goals instead of staying patient and within their game and getting to the front of the net to create more traffic and get more screens for those outside shots and deflections. When a goalie is in a zone you have to be patient BUT you have to get to the net and earn those gritty goals. The Hurricanes are not doing that near enough and Bob is seeing EVERY shot and as long as that continues he won't be beat. This happens EVERYTIME a Cinderella gets a red hot goalie and starts playing high risk care free hockey knowing whos behind them and it turns a shrimp into a shark literally instantaneously and that's whats happening here.
It couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Watching him grow up from backing up Bryzgalov in Philly until now, Bob has always been a class act and the hardest working guy on the team. It was hard to watch him leave Columbus, but I understand why. Even though he doesn't play for my team anymore, I will always root for this guy and I am happy to see him shake off the stigma of regular season hero.
Bobrovsky is playing like Vasilevskiy did when Tampa won the Stanley cup 2 years in a row….. It;s possible that Carolina may get a win however after seeing the breakdown of the Carolina player in the locker room… Florida could have this series in the bag… "We want Florida" Yeah Florida the Giant Killer!

Last time I seen this time of “zone “ with a goalie it’s was when Bishop won a cup in Tampa. Bob is magic. To answer your question, Panthers are bound to play for the cup. Dallas or Vegas…,,neither can hang with any east team especially a team that’s got “it” this year.
