That "high stick" on Staal hit his shoulder , so the ref made the right non-call, despite Staal trying to sell it. From most angles we are shown, it APPEARS to hit his face but does not.
I love how rent free that phantom high stick is in your head. Still a shoulder, still not a penalty, and if you've watched hockey before (you seem like a new fan, nothing wrong with that, you're still learning) you'd know that refs oftentimes choose to give no penalties rather than matching minors, for the Oscar worthy embellishment that made him look like an Herbal Essences model- only thing missing from that video was waist length hair snapping back in slo mo

I was born and raised in Montreal- so am a die-hard Habs fan- write off season again!!! But for these playoffs I am hoping the Panthers win their 1st Cup and get their championship rings- would be so good for hockey to bring in more fans to relatively newer markets- love this team also- so many stories about them and their out of almost nowhere run!!!

A couple things: Fla has a full squad w/call ups for game simulations, which the are doing. It allows the to work on Spec Teams and work on video review of previous games. The time off will be utilized well to allow MAX physical therapy to get them at 100%. They be flying on June 3
