Can anyone tell me why players slow down when running to 1st base? Like he could've easily made it at 3:06 but you see him slow down.
Man the Yankees are playing some bad baseball lately. IKF and Volpe not helping hardly at all.
This is the exact reason why I don't bother spending 3 hours to watch the Yankees play. What a waste of time. Can't get anything going. Michael King has been choking out of the pen while everyone else has been steadily consistent. Our only horrendous starter has been German, but nobody except for McKinney wants to hit the baseball. It's a sad time to be a Yankee fan.
Excluding the pitching, this is the worst defensive team I have seen the Yankees field in a very long time.

Well, the starting pitching mostly stinks, but tonight they got a good outing and the hitting stunk. DUNNING's OK, but 2 runs? Weak contact, RLOB, miscues… Good teams NEVER, EVER let a good outing go to waste. The '23 NYY are not a good team. Shocker.

Yankees have an awful lineup outside Judge and Rizzo. 90% of their guy's would be bench players on most if not all the other playoff teams. They also haven't been to the WS in almost 14 years. So this is no longer a premier or elite organization.

You don’t know misery until you’re a Rangers fan like so many of us for so many years. Longest running franchise with 0 championships, started in 1961 counting 10 years in Washington. Only 2 pennants. The last time Rangers won the pennant, 2011, they were 41 and 36 on June 24th, worse than Yankees now. Good start to the year, good manager, could happen but the Yankees will always be the all time standard in MLB forever so relax.
