I has to laugh about talking about durzi bad play against vegas that night so what do u think cale makar never had any giveaways before he did because i watched him cough it a few times like alot of top defenseman it happens get over it if durzi makes a gamble pass and it works out its great and if it gets picked off he sucks should trade him i don't believe thats fair at all
And trade durzi and put bjornfort in his place that would b a horrible move Eddie bjornfort sucks in my opinion he should b the one on the way out for sure durzi is still learning and to trade him right now would b a mistake i think
And talking about vegas winning with hill i would bet anything that the kings wouldn't have won with hill because the kings are not vegas the kings r a soft team a small team a weak team and sure on some random night during the regular season the kings could beat vegas sure but not in the playoffs the knights were big and tougher and way more put together then the kings the oilers could bang around the kings vegas would have pounded the kings florida would have pushed the kings around hell i think the kraken would have bullied the kings and kempe having to fight jt Miller just before heading into the playoffs and no repercussion for it thats how weak the kings were and are it was embarrassing and another thing to b honest i love Kopitar i named my dog after him but i am not sure if he should even b on the first line anymore if kopi got 3 years left in the league it probably shouldn't b on the 1st line i don't think the kings have a 1st line center right now without kempe being on the 1st line it would b rough and i don't like saying this but its what i believ
And if i was blake i would b trying to trade doughty ifff possible that would free up all the money u would need right there and bring in someone a good bit cheaper and keep the change for a goalie and maybe another center ya because thats how much money dewy makes its insane
Lack of size and scared to hit or get hit in front of the net was a big part of the penalty kill and 5v5.
Eddie, our PK did not keep to the same scheme in the playoffs, yes, the Oilers did take another level, but LA was playing passive, scared and defeated. It was different in the reg season, they did not give Edmonton a lot of time or space, while also blocking a lot of shots, retrieving pucks, winning more board battles, and breaking up more passes. None of that was present in the playoffs. I guess it is more of a confidence issue, which goes back to the coaching staff.
Another thing, Durzi is not the only player who can play either side like the other guy says, Mikey Anderson has played right side before and done it very well, and I'm very positive that both Clarke and Spence can play left side if needed. That said, we don't need anybody to play their off side, because we got enough depth on each side to keep it balanced.
