Hey Eddie' by the kings moving Durzi i personally believe that this works out for both sides, Durzi gets a chance to grow in Az. and the kings will have less a headache on watching Durzi do the "Durzi"😅
I think Kings gambling on vilardi makes sense. PLD is much more consistent, and still has upside. That being said, vilardi has some of the best mitts I’ve seen in a while

I think you are "locked on" with your Durzi take I will miss that attitude but best for both sides. I heard that PLD already wants out of LA, he had to be reminded that he wasn't traded there yet. If Hrabal (G) slides in the draft, some have him ranked in the late 40's, do you think Kings go for him? Or does it just take too long to develop goalies. Thank you, Eddie. Go Kings Go.
I feel that they shouldn’t have trade Durzi, only 24, 38 points. Possible 50-60 points from a defenseman. PLD is too expensive and really wants to go to Montreal. Speaking of Montreal, I would go after Suzuki to replace Kopitar when he retires.
I couldn't disagree more on PLD, the Kings should not trade for him and giving up Iafallo or Vilardi is too much for this guy. They don't need him. The Kings only need goalie depth for a deep playoff run. As it is, the Kings will enter the season, one injury away from missing the playoffs. It makes no sense to give up any assets at this point of the preseason. This trade "rumor" would be a steal for the Jets, would make Blake look like a fool if they don't get past the first round of the playoffs (or miss the playoffs) and it is structured more like a trade a team ready to make a playoff run would make at the trade deadline. PLD is a decent player, but he reminds me of Alexei Yashin … he's never happy and won't be happy until he gets to Montreal. He's not a long-term solution for the Kings and Vilardi is a better hockey player …. right now! There is no way to really prove either of our POV, and we can revisit this post next season. But Vilardi is an RFA, he is under team control for a few more years and if he continues to put up and improve on the numbers, he had last year, he could easily be traded for 3 – 1st round prospects (the popular trade deadline asking price for a player expected to help a team make a playoff run) later in the season or next year. But I think Vilardi, Byfield, Kaliyev, among other prospects, are the future of this team. Blake has done such an amazing job in the draft over the last five or so years, it would be a shame for him to tear this team apart when they are so close to building a dynasty type team. My main problem with PLD is he wants 9 million when hes not worth that, and he'll have stretches where he plays very very well then he'll drop off and not play great and doesn't look as motivated, I've seen Jets fans say the same thing about him, and I've also seen him have 3 or 4 shifts where he looks like he's not trying at all granted one of those shifts happened a while ago when he was in a bad situation in Columbus.. I also think trading Vilardi might be a mistake he has the potential to be just as good as PLD or better while also being a few million dollars cheaper

Eddie, there's only one reason for the Kings even considering PLD. And it would mean a massive trade that includes their goalie as there is no way we would go back in to CAP hell over another forward. We have more than enough of those right now! Besides, he wanted out of Winnipeg anyway? I can see us giving up Iafallo and Vilardi and maybe even one other young prospect or a draft pick, but no way we give up anything beyond that point. Reporters are desperate for news, but what's the benefit to the Kings? We need a goalie…and nothing else for right now. We need to see what our young Kings can do for one more year. Besides, he's asking way to much money for what he brings with him. Finally, we do not need a replacement for Kopi…and no one is gonna live up to what Kopitar brings. I say we just resign Kopi for a few more years at a reduced contract. Let this guy go to Montreal…don't forget to measure your stick, Pe-Heir!
Wake up my fellow Kings fans Brandt Clarke is going to be a Superstar no need for Durz. Clarke will be QB on the power play before the season is up and Spence is also ready 🙂
Giving up two wings where i feel they still have great need there.
Losing your second best right wing and your number 2 -3 left wing is a no go for me.
If kupari can step up he can center the third line with lizzote on the 4th.
Sorry but put me in the Byfield is not the answer now and likely not in the future.

Looking forward to seeing Spence regularly. Him and Bjornfot spent an entire season together as a #1 pair in Ontario and it should transfer into a solid 3rd pair in the NHL. Clarke will be our 7th but should find a good 40 or so games. Our 7th always gets used and it takes the pressire off as a rookie.
Spence has more experience and should get the first shot at the 3rd pairing.
