  1. Poor trade they have no picks know to 69 they gave up players like Edstrom,Dragicevic witch would off dealt with there ld problem then giving up on Gauthier and Ziemmer or Halttunen.poor deal

  2. Disappointed with this trade especially for 31st and 37th. Other than a few flashes Newhook hasn't impressed me so far in the NHL. The Habs need players who combine talent and grit. 31 and 37 are worth more than that especially this year. 👉🏻 It is now absolutely necessary to draft «Ryan Leonard » for his hockey character and his sandpaper presence

  3. Newhook never hit in Colorado. Maybe a change of venue will do him good.. Sending some love out to Montreal. Without you guys my Avs would never have got Roy and Lekki.

  4. I love it! Hes a 16th pick and hasnt even begun to reach his potential.

There are no guarantees that the 31st or 37th picks will be any better than Newhook and Fairbrother is MID.

  5. Newhook was SUPER inconsistent here in Colorado!
You'll need to have him play lots of minutes to get going, or you're looking at 12 goals, and 20 assists tops. Less if he's on the 3rd line..

  6. A garbage trade Colorado wins this trade. If anyone thinks Newhook can be a second line center and help us win the cup they are delirious.
That 31st pick is no joke this is the deepest draft I have ever seen…EVER so that 31st pick would have been imo a better player than Nerwhook and imo a MUCH better player.

  7. The Nazem Kadri loss was the exact move that I used to say Newhook did NOT improve with more ice time .HAHA Habs fans are already thinking Newhook is our second line center .
How about this I have NO USE for Newhook this was a terrible trade. The goal is the Stanley CUP and Newhook will be a non factor and 22 years old is NOT young this is already his PRIME year and he showed NOTHING.
The only thing I can think of with plugs like Dach and Newhook is that the Habs are soooooooooo bad people see mediocrity as being amazing !!.I wouldn't even give Newhook mediocrity Dach yes but Newhook is imo an AHL player he can join Justin Barron the other plug Colorado gave us and Slafkovsky in Laval because that is where they belong.

  8. Where do people get all these CLICHE phrases like "we need experience in the dressing room" "this guy was on a cup team" "this guy is still young"? These are all nonsense phrases they have no meaning good hockey players are just good they don't need any cheerleaders in the dressing room or guys bragging about they have a cup ring.
We gave up BOTH first round picks for Dach and now Newhook…really sad.
I wanted MORE first round picks not less so management is already starting to frustrate me these are NOT good managing moves trading away first round picks.Yeah ask Dallas if it would have been good trading away their second round pick and losing Jason Robertson.

  9. I hope the St-Louis rehabilitation camp for promising prospect does its magic once again, otherwise that’s an expensive 3rd C

  10. Honestly after watching Newhook over the last few years, I think he would be better at left wing than center. He looks a bit lost on positioning and is awful in the faceoff circle. I wish him the best maybe a change of scenery will unleash the potential he has.

  11. I have been a listening to your videos for years now and I still have no clue what you're saying at the end : I hope you enjoy vedishyedesholneinnein and bye!

  12. Avs fan here, watched almost every game. Newhook isn't as awesome as everyone says. Yes he's young, but Colorado needed the cap space. Plus, he hasn't performed in the playoffs. You see bursts, but he is so inconsistent it's hard to rely on him. He could've really stepped up this year, but he squandered the opportunity.

  13. He's only played 2 full seasons! Only played 13 min a game too! He will play more on mtl. I think he's gonna reach his potential with mtl

  14. Now…Go after Alexis Laffrenier ..from the RANGERS ..!! A GOOD PROJECT …with lots of up side !!!❤

  15. There’s like no way you get this little views, if the NHL was as popular as basketball or baseball, you would have 200k easily

  16. Canadiens needed a good player and Avs need money to fill other positions. They didn’t give up on Newhook, but the money they would have to give him is needed elsewhere
