I just hope Yzerman thinks this player can mesh with Larkin and not just seeing a stat line and a birth certificate. Because thia trade is a make or break trade for Yzerman, honestly. A turning point for his entire GM career, maybe. Because its going to cost a lot of trade pieces and salary cap. If Debrincat doesnt score 35 next year, its a total bust because thia team cant afford for him not to. He has to mesh perfectly. 25 or whatever he had in ottawa will not cut the mustard.
