That would be an F- for MacFarland and Sakic. ERod wanted only $1M more but they prefer to get the Devil’s worst forward from the playoff series against the Rangers and sign him 6 years!!! They are still laughing in NJ about so much stupidity. And then getting the old guy Jack Johnson back. The GM of the Avalanche is probably the cheapest GM in the history of professional sports. Look at TOR, they sign Bertuzzi and Domi just today. Vegas did not lose a single player, only the third goalie. COL still has no RW for the third line. They have achieved nothing! The bottom six still sucks and the third d pairing with shorty Girard ($5M for that guy – unbelievable!) and the 36-year old Jack Johnson. You don’t need to watch a scary movie, that d pairing scares the shit out of Georgiev and Francy. Stanley Cup chances? After these two horrific days – less than 10%! Here is the list of the victims of this F-grade management: Kadri, Burakovsky, Sturm, JT Compher, Evan Rodrigues, Eller, Englund, Newhook, and EJ. I probably have forgotten some, just mentioned some big ones, an impressive list. In the end, a one line offense with a very shaky third d pairing. Good luck with that, and you need a big bunch of that!
This is off topic but I need your help understanding something. Is the Landeskog LTIR $$$'s been spent or is that something that can be used in the future?. In other words, did the AVS use the $7.0 to sign the new and existing players or does this somehow come into play somewhere down the road. I'm having my 73rd birthday tomorrow and I hate the fact that I don't understand this whole thing. I thought that we were going to be able to sign a top flight player using Landy's LTIR. I hope that I've been clear about my concerns. Thanks guys.
