1:27 Nope, no thank you. No more micro players. Canucks didn't need more forwards anyway, and they NEED to get bigger as it is… You don't have to be big, but 5'9" and 165lbs is a ping pong ball out there. I'd rather they rolled the dice on a high pick for a right shot D.
Ian Cole played 78 games last year. Canucks are lucky to get that out of ANY of their defense core.
hockey is a contact sport if teams played playoff hockey all season, by season end no team would survive without injuries to play playoffs, sure football does but they play once a week Nice to see a cute lil tighty talk hockey
Benson is tiny, not what the Canucks need. Also, size matters in the playoffs, completely disagree with her.
100% agree with Doerrie on Bear
Rachel is awesome! Love to see her on the show ❤
what, so wait, if we retain 50% of Myers salary teams would be interested?? Whoa, great insight there.
Have Rachel on more please
Great interview . She is very articulate with good insight . Get her on more often .
it seems a little strange, off-putting and rather conflicted that rachel is doing a hit on your show talking 'bout 'canucks'-related wheelings 'n dealings … whilst in the middle of an attempted legal cash grab from the organization for an 'unfair' dismissal with accompanying sundry 'human rights' violations attributed to her seemingly caustic 'working' relationship with emilie castonguay … kinda' weird…
She just screams gen z. Easy to say, hard to do.
Great conversation but I kept wishing that she would move her head and let me get a good look at that villains collage.
Rachel is so knowledgeable, she's a great guest
I agree with Rachel on Benson. He was the pick I was hoping for and I still believe he was the best prospect available but the Canucks followed their typical draft routine: High floor, low-ceiling, "safe" pick. Nathan Smith is beaming with pride at the pick.
Great info on Myers’ bonus situation. This is the first I heard that the Canucks have the option to pay it early.
Rachel is terrific, a breath of fresh air from most hockey media
Love Doerrie but Benson is not a center and Ian Cole played in a shut down role with Cernak. He was also the best penalty killer on the Lightning and played 20 minutes a night.
Isnt this the girl that filed a human rights complaint to the canucks LOL
thanks for all the awful takes
Hot
I’m glad she’s not running a team. Would be some huge mistakes
Why she on the Show Talking about the Canucks when shes filing a complaint against the Canucks? This interview makes no sense.
Ian Cole played 78 games last season and had the most TOI on their team on the PK. I don’t think she did any research on him. “Only player when there was an injury” his TOI was that of an average top 4 dman in the NHL.
I don’t like her. I think she just parrots others opinions.
Ha! She looks like she's a teenager , but quite a mind on her – good stuff!
Wow she's smart, ya I wish we kept bear
Two words: MOAR RACHEL.
I love hearing a point of view that's really significantly different than most guests.
You know…I can't help but notice that this comment section is full of comments saying she shouldn't even be on the show.
I wonder why. What makes Rachel so different…
Yes sign bear…possible 6 to 9 month recovery time…
They already spent the long term money on Miller. Between JT and OEL, they are set for the next 8 years
"There's teams that are going to need help on their right side"….like the Canucks lol just hang on to him until trade deadline to maximize ROI.
Rachel, you're awesome!
Sooooooo, she is suing the Canucks for getting canned and she is still doing media on the state of the Canucks. No thanks!
Benson will forever be a topic of possible regret. Smyl was one inch taller.Cliffy was one inch shorter.Bure was one inch taller than Benson. Boudrias? An inch shorter. Many years to make this comparison. Vancouver has iced great hockey players Benson's size.
Painful
