Change their approach? as in ascertaining that their goaltender isn't injured ( or shell shocked ) going into the playoffs?
Goaltending is the least of the Bruins worries heading into the season. How about finding a No.1 centre.
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

We have to acknowledge that Jeremy's games were hand-picked-his stats were almost artificially created by goalie Bob's discretion.
Look at who took the heavy load, the top teams in their houses.
There was good reason they did not put Jeremy and net in Sunrise.
Jeremy is going to hit a wall-I believe the Bruins and sway we're counting on Beijing Olympics to get his VITAL international experience.
Cuz the last USA born & trained goalie to get the cup was 1994 Ritcher NYR
Tim Thomas played in Europe and came back a BEAST!
Jonathan Quick participated in the 2012 Olympics, got that international European training beyond North america-a few months later he won his first Stanley Cup the same year as the Olympic medal.
That wasn't a coincidence.
So Jeremy's career has actually taken quite a hit, for USA goalie under 6' 4"

But that's why Brad Marchand was all over Twitter fighting for players getting to the Olympics, lack of European training and experience stunts many north American hockey players' careers.
But it's my understanding he didn't come home to Alaska this summer, he stayed in Boston for massive training. And a lot of top athletes head to Boston Summers for training… So here's hoping Alex ovechkin showed up in Boston to give Jeremy some training!
We're getting this quality goaltending for pennies compared to other teams. I don't see any trade that would be worth it. The goalies don't make enough to matter under the cap. We give up Ullmark, who are we bringing in for $5 million?
I am a bit surprised at Jeremy's contract, that seems kind of high for a goalie who doesn't play elite teams in their house. Doesn't control rebounds
But the only thing I can guess is that he's progressed a lot this summer, and somebody know something.
I have no clue why anybody would mess with this tandem. Financially, locker-room chemistry, and most importantly-their stats!
There's no reason to trash or trade them, and it's sort of getting ridiculous.
Nobody's going to be Bergeron, I'm going to miss krejci a lot more… But Pavel zacha and Charlie Coyle are not slouches. They have been dormant playing in the shadow of elite veteran players that simply won't retire!

You think people would learn from last season, but I guess they're going to repeat the same thing over and over until they're right?
Bruins don't "rebuild", is it ongoing development cycling new players in with veterans.
They don't gut anything, blow up the house, none of that is necessary.
Twenty-five other teams in the NHL would love to have our line up.

He came from the Detroit Red wings, up to a team that was already setting a franchise record, playing on a line with one of the NHL's top goal scorers🤔

But Bruins fans don't acknowledge his injury history. He's broken both hands in the last couple years-hockey hands don't get fixed. There's nothing you can do. Those snappy passes won't last as long as his career should.
There's a reason besides the cap constraints, that teams aren't running to him for long-term contracts. Those hands are not going to hold up.
Hes never played an 82 game sesson in his eight years on NHL ice.
The most he's played : 73,71, 68, 48, 29, 21, 9 & 7 games in one season. Between the hands, this record-he needs another year or 2 to prove himself to somebody, that he's worth a long-term contract.
No disrespect-he's a lot of fun to watch. But he might have been a shooting star.
It'll be interesting to see how he stats work out playing with the core four. Or whatever they're going to be.
David krejci the only one I'm going to really miss, he has a ton of impact on the team and scoreboard. The other ones are relatively replaceable.
