Wheeler was the BEST value contract signing this summer, not one of the best. I was in shock when I heard the news that he signed for so little. You nailed it, he's a great addition. He isn't a great skater, but he can make up for any shortcomings with his smarts and experience.
underrated by most fans? I want to see a 3rd line of Wheeler, Trocheck, Kreider.. the size and grit on that line will be insane!
