Ilya Lyubushkin trade makes zero sense… Samuelsson and Jokiharju have had problems staying healthy for the entirety of a NHL season their entire friggin careers… Neither has played even close to a full season. Joki's closest being 69 games played, all other seasons for both of them are 60 games or less played…
We missed the play-off's last season BECAUSE of those injuries, no if's, and's, or but's about it…
And we trade a perfectly serviceable depth piece injury fill in player like Lyubushkin for a friggin 4th round pick? WHY!?!? to be nice to Lyubushkin? It's literally the only thing that makes any sense… like making millions of dollars playing isn't enough… gotta make sure he is getting 20 minutes a night on a different team?
Unless Kevyn is planning on bringing in another d-man this move is just plain stupid, probably his worst move as GM of the Buffalo Sabres…
