Keep dreamin'. But on second thought, Kane's career is nearing it's last legs, so he's liable to sign with anyone who would take him at this point.

I really like the Scheifele deal, but the Jets may ask for too much in return. Fabbri plus one of our defensive prospects and a second or third round pick if they would go for it. Wings don't need Kane, but if the deal is cheap why not?
There is a huge trade that Yzerman could make with The Jets. It's not for Scheifele. The trade I would love to see is for Hellebuyck. The Jets would obviously want a lot back, including a current goalie and some prospects. The Red Wings have both. Ville Husso would have to be included. The Wings have a lot of very good prospects. It would pain me to see a couple of them leave but this trade I feel would be worth it. Hellebuyck would have to sign an extension first before the trade. Hellebuyck is a Michigan boy also. This trade would be massive but I think worth it for both teams.
Hellebuyck or scheifele to detroit makes sense.
Scheifele i think if was being told by another great player like Yzerman he needs to be better or show him some things could help his attitude.
