Still insane to me how he was essentially given away for nothing. He goes from no ice time to waivers to forcing himself onto a lineup to tucking a franchise's very first playoff goal.
It's very cool. And the clip of all those kids just absolutely losing their minds over him and demanding to have his stick was hilarious.

This was great. Eeli was one of my favorite players and stories last season. I loved that they filmed it in his home town. Awesome!

Oh, that was such a wonderful glimpse of our Eeli and his family and the journey he took to get to us! His story was so great over the course of last year — here's hoping for another breakout year for Eeli with the Kraken this season! And what an amazing thing to have his nephew come see him – the "Uncle" jersey was adorable, and I'm sure Buoy made that special, too. 🙂
