To me they're not as bad as Nashville's winter classic jersey from a few years ago. Those were just the worst since they started doing both the heritage and winter classic games.

Honestly I really like both for different reasons. I love the Edmonton jersey for it's unique design and love the oil drop with the number and the color scheme. But this one screams simple old fashioned jersey without doing too much. I love the cream/ off-white and the simplified logo. I love the number kit (at least from the images we have). IMO these are both very solid and very nice jerseys. Can't wait to see them on the ice.

Honestly if the red was black and the jersey was off white with black and red stitching or outlines it would look sick but as is very mid honestly i think it would have looked better to take the current aways and make those off white

I’m sorry Edmonton did not use the Mercury’s color pattern with orange being the primary color. In fact they blew the crest too. The whole crest should be one piece and centred with a maple leaf…. In a nutshell Edmonton should have used that mercury’s logo and placed a subtle oil drop into the pattern.
I really love the Calgary one, I'm a fan of simple jerseys with a classic look. Edmonton is ok, I'm not a fan of the customization aspects of it or the "brown" equipment.
Disagree with you on these being the worst HC jerseys. I think the 2011 with the Flames and Canadiens is worse. Honestly I think these are some of the better HC jerseys.
I like the shoulder’s texture.
Edmonton has the better more unique logo, but the uniform is horrible. Calgary uniform is just meh all around.
I wish they would have tried harder to make more memorable uniforms for the first ever Battle of Alberta Heritage Classic.
I certainly like rounded shoulder panels more than squared off. But making them run so far down the sleeves doesn't look as good.

Funny to mention people not really rushing out to buy them …. Edmonton is pretty sold out at most places!! I like them both.
