Love to see Domi get going. That’s 3rd line with Domi, Kampf and Knies seemed to have a bit of glue to it. Hopefully Domi and Knies can build on this and give the team that depth scoring they need

I think Sammy played ok, couple weird goals. Woll saved the Leafs bacon tonight. Knives looked great along with Domi.

Samsonosv has been held out to dry by the team on most off the games this year. This defense needs to be fixed as soon as possible with either a trade or bench some of the NHL and bring up AHL Defense. They are missing another version of Schenn to clear the net. This McCabe is not the same player as year where he was clearing the net and hitting.
Domi looked good…but lets face it…most players on the team would have missed those shots that Knies buried. Wish you guys would get off Reeves back. The man serves a purpose if Keefe will let him do his job. I don't care if he only plays 5 minutes…it's important he is there because now you don't have Stamokos smacking matthews around. If you don't get that…I just don't understand you. How many times you want to see our guys get smacked around because we got nobody that will fight? Just shut up and leave Reeves alone.
Times last season I would scream SHOOOOOT THE PUCK ALREADY. good stuff tonight!

Domi had a terrible turnover in the neutral zone right before he somehow got the puck back and set up Knies, and passed it to his skate. It was Knies and his awareness that led him to score despite a bad pass. Still lots of work to be done by Domi to get acclimated.

Great game and nice 2 goals by Knies .Kucherov is a hell of a player though ,I think he is the 2nd best player in the NHL behind Connor .How can Nylander demand $10M a year when Kucherov , a way superior player is only making $9.5M .WIllie should think about this and settle for $8.5-$9M ..If he demands more than what Kucherov is being paid then they have to move him .I believe Knies ( if playing in the top 6 regulary ) can replace most of willies offence
Good on Knies to get two to tie ….Tampa targeted him in the playoffs and 100% they new they had zero chance of winning with him in the line up. It was a GARBAGE play! ……… That said regarding game play I have noticed Matthews skating ability in and around the net…big improvement and he's looking really good on his edges….curious if he tampered with his blade profile. I'm not a fan of CCM though. 🙂

In the last episode, we acknowledged how the Leafs defense is awful and were just going to have to outscore the other team.
