    Don’t think that’s suspension worthy but that’s a penalty on Marchand 10/10 times can’t miss that and the lack of response from anyone on the leafs after your top 4 D gets taken out for a month is pathetic. Hockey play or not someone fucken wake up

    Well put. This must be coming from Brendan Shannohan, Brad Trevling and down to Keefe. What the fuck is wrong with them?????????? It is a basic aspect of competitive hockey to defend and fight for your teammates instantly. Mathews, Tavares, Nylander need to fight more. Remember Wendel Clark?????????? Tucker???? Domi???? What the fuck is going on???? Everyone who was on the ice, needs to have jumped Marchand after that hit. A good elbow in the face and a knee on his nose.

    Let me preface my comment that I am not a member of Leaf Nation. The Leafs got through round one last year against a depleted team, but lost to an inferior team in Florida. The Leafs have enough talent to make the playoffs without question. So they added some toughness this year with Reeves and Bertuzzi, but adding tough guys doesn’t make a tough team. It means you have a couple tough guys in your lineup, great for regular season, but worthless in the playoffs. In order to be successful in the playoffs, your stars need to be tough, they need to be warriors. Matthews and Marner are great talents,,,but they are both softs,,they aren’t warriors. It’s why they go missing in the playoffs. What I find hilarious is the Toronto fans love to minimize Nylander,,,but he is the only warrior that performs in the playoffs.
