@Flyers de Philadelphie

#hockey #nhl #faits saillants #philadelphiaflyers #carolinahurricanes

  1. Right on. You go little man! Hope nothing but the best for you.
People think Torts is just a dick 24/7 but he's actually a pretty genuine guy.

  2. AWESOME…KEEP IT GOING OWEN … 😃😃YOU ROCK PEACE Lil Man from WESTERN CANADA

  3. I liked Torts when he coached the Rangers. He loses his cool once in a while but who doesn’t?

  4. Torts deserves to still be the guy in philly once they truly prove its their time to get back into the playoffs. Hes coached some of my teams most hated rivals but still has always been one of my favourite people in hockey. Then you hear about how he spoke about the kyle beech situation and how he went about this, what a guy. Proves you can be yourself and stick to your guns no matter how hard headed and oldschool people may view it as an NHL coach and still be a good guy. Mike babcock should take notes

  5. Pens fan here Torts is a great guy and shout out to the Flyers organization for doing that

  6. LOL Johnny T looks smiles here just like the Grinch after his heart-grew-ten-sizes-that-day revelation Love ya Torts!

  7. Bravo to the Flyers. That probably is the highlight of this kids life. He looks so innocent and sweet. Man, prayers for him that he can overcome the challenges he's facing, may Jesus heal him and bless his life!

  8. The only time Torts watch what he said on the bench! what an awesome kid, hope for the best!

  9. Wow. I used to hate both these teams b/c I'm a Bruins fan…but can no longer hate the Flyers after this.
(no, I'm not crying…there's something in my eye)
    WONDERFUL STORY!!!

  10. As a diehard Pittsburgh Penguins fan I absolutely dislike the Flyers! But what you guys did as a team for that little boy BRAVO PHILLY I actually hoped you would’ve won that game!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  11. Torts is a great guy! Media likes to hyper-focus on the fact that he yells at millionaires when they play at a junior level, but he's a stud.

  12. I never would have guessed Torts would have been the coach to do something like this. I love watching the guy, and he's a good coach in most measurements, but Torts does have a rather sharp edge to him.

  13. Im so happy that the Flyers fired everyone. Ever since then i can get behind the team again. Hopefully they sell the team but Torts is a good fit here in Philly and Jones + Briere have gotten back to Flyers culture

  14. Regardless of how it works out in Philly, I have huge respect for Torts. He came into town and took the helm of a franchise that was a total mess. You can tell he HATES losing, but he knows he needs to endure this pain to get to the other side. This shows not only passion for the game, but for building a team. If he can turn Philly around, it galvanizes his storied career into the HOF. He wins a cup, he'll be amongst the GOAT. Get him some Players, FO.

  15. I love when clubs I hate, do things that make me like them, before going back to hating them. You know what I mean.

  16. Hockey fights cancer is easily my favorite month of the year. So many sad stories but it’s so great to see big tough hockey players and coaches care and do so much for these kids. Truly a heart warming month for the sport
